Different types of Memberships

The members are divided into the following categories:

"Ordinary Member (OM)"

1 - company with one to five employees (OM1)

2 - company with six to ten employees (OM2)

3 - company with more than ten employees (OM3)

Ordinary Members are those companies with U.A.E residence, which sell products or provide services having been developed or manufactured or being controlled by a Swedish company.

"Associated Member"

Associated Member are those individuals who cannot be classified as "Ordinary Members" due to their activity, but for personal or professional reasons have a distinct interest in Sweden and in the objectives of the Association.

"Overseas Member (OSM)"

Overseas Members are companies, organizations or institutions active outside of the U.A.E with an interest to support the Association and/or promote themesleves in the UAE.

"Supporting Member (SPM)"

Supporting Members are companies, organizations or institutions active inside of the U.A.E without any connection with Sweden but with an interest to support the Association and/or promote their company/organisation in the UAE or Sweden.

Annual Fees

The annual membership fee is decided by the Annual General Assembly. For 2009 the annual fees are as follows:

Associate member (AM) AED 330

Ordinary member (OM 1) AED 1100

Ordinary member (OM 2) AED 2200

Ordinary member (OM 3) AED 3300

Overseas member (OSM) AED 2200

Supporting member (SPM) AED 2200
