The Swedish National Day in the UAE

On the 6th June 2024, we celebrate the Swedish National Day.

With Team Sweden: Embassy of Sweden, Business Sweden and The Swedish Business Council we created a video to with the community a Happy Swedish National Day with this joyful video.

It is on this date which Gustav Vasa was elected King of Sweden in 1523. This laid the foundation of Sweden as an independent state, and on the same date in 1809 a new, important constitution was adopted.

The Swedish Business Council´s celebrations doesn’t end here. We embarked on our fun and exciting annual National Day Tour for 4 days around Dubai and Abu Dhabi visiting our Gold Members.
