CEO Network
The Swedish Business Council is proud to have hosted the latest CEO Network session in the unique setting of IKEA Festival Plaza, a space that truly felt like our own Swedish living room. It was also a great honor to have H.E. Fredrik Florén, Ambassador of Sweden to the UAE, present.
The CEO Network is an exclusive forum that brings together CEOs and Managing Directors from SBCs 40 Corporate Gold Member companies. The purpose is to create a trusted environment for open dialogue, peer exchange and meaningful business conversations between senior leaders of Swedish companies in the UAE. This session delivered exactly that, with strong engagement, valuable discussions and shared insights throughout the morning. The conversations reflected the strength of the network and the value of creating a space where leaders can speak openly, learn from each other and build long term relationships.
Harry A H Amos, Keynote speaker
It was an honor to welcome Harry A H Amos as keynote speaker. Harry is an endurance athlete, leadership advisor and former British Army officer. Through powerful storytelling from ocean rowing, extreme endurance challenges and high performance environments, Harry translated his experiences into practical leadership lessons around resilience, decision making under pressure, trust and sustained performance. His session created strong engagement and reflection among participants and we are grateful for the energy and insight he brought to the room.
The discussions also highlighted how lessons from sport and extreme performance environments can be applied directly to leadership, team dynamics and organisational culture in business.
